I am still read/praying/ talking to God through His Psalms.
I am now on Psalm 109. As God has lead me through this book I know I have grown closer to Him. Much wisdom has been given to me in these verses. Many ideas for future sermons/messsages have been put on my heart from this book.
I will say again, read through the book of Psalms. You may say 150 chapters is a lot and it is, but if you don't have a personal relationship with God before you read them - you will after you have read through them.
I recommend not to just read them as just another thing you did that day. Pray , read, study, seek God- through them.
So 100 plus days of God's Psalms- I wouldn't trade my time with God in these verse for anything.
To Him be the glory!
Psalm 108: 12-13 , " Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies."
How to Experience New Life in Christ
Everyone is a sinner & separated from God.
For all have sinned & come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins.
But God commanded His love towards us, in that while we were sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Death means seperation forever from God. Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eteranl life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
In order to begin your new life in Christ (be saved), you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Savoir.
If you will confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. Romans 10:9
This is God's promise to you - if you accept Jesus, He will accept you.
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13
Jesus died on the cross for you. He rose from the dead. He's alive today. He is willing to come into you heart now, if you'll let Him. You can pray a prayer like this one, but remember it is not the pray, alone, it is the intent of your heart. " God, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. I am willing to turn from my sin. I receive Jesus as my Saviour; I confess Him as my Lord. I put my faith & trust in Him. I want to follow, serve , worship, & live for Jesus. Amen."
